What doesn’t bother me might be a better question. I have tried to work on not having things bother me, but sometimes I just cannot help it. What is tough is when I let things bother me that I have no control over fixing or changing. But to answer this prompt some of the things that really bother me are as follows:
It really bothers me when people are given instructions, either spoken or written, and then immediately proceed to ask a question that was answered in the instructions already given.
It bothers me that some people are inconsiderate of others and like to stand in the middle of aisles in stores and not allow others to pass by.
It bothers me when people are driving, miss their turn, or decide to try to turn at the last minute and practically stop traffic or their lane to move, up to multiple lanes, instead of just heading to the next available turn-off.

It bothers me when people make assumptions and do not state their own preferences and get upset with others when others state what they want and it clashes with what the person actually wants but has not stated. In other words, making assumptions and not stating their preference.
- Some pet-peeves:
- Consistent pen clicking (especially in quiet environments)
- Popping gum
- Slow automobile drivers
- Loud phone noises
- Talking on speaker phone in public
Then depending on the situation I am in there are other things that bother me but I could go on and on about them and this would never end.
What are some things that bother you?
Edit: I realized I never answered the why to the prompt. In general, the things that bother me are due to a lack of consideration for other people. I know I am a culprit of things that would inconvenience or bother others but I do try my best to mitigate them. I also know something that may not seem like an inconvenience to some may be an inconvenience to others.
