Change

Daily writing prompt
What would you change about modern society?

Probably too much to list.

Hmm…The selfishness or more like the self-centered nature of people. I notice this especially when driving. No consideration for your fellow person, only concern is for when you will get to your destination and in the quickest way possible.

The lack of support for those who need it, both financially and mentally.

The lack of mass transportation systems. Everyone seems to think that a car is a necessity and not a luxury.

I would love to see more community spaces as well as green spaces.

Along the same lines as the previous statement, I would love to see more community stores and not so many big box stores.

Would love to see a change in the housing market. Canada’s house prices are just so high compared to places I have lived in the US, and it is only getting worse.

Would also love is people did not feel the need to take advantage of others just to feed their bottom line.

Same as the higher ups in companies having more consideration for their employees and customers in means of their salaries/income. It is just unimaginable to me that someone can feel good having salaries/income that is 10x or more than their subordinates.

Eh…It seems like I am coming off as a socialist. I do like the idea of more equality in that sense, to a point. I know if would probably never work in North American society though.

And, much much more…
